MD Market Project
MD Market is the second italian discount supermarket chain, with a successful stimulating history all in the Italian peninsula.
The company values the concept of discount from north to south Italy with a policy focused on the relationship between quality and price. The goal is to offer the consumer a real and constant service.
With over 4,500 employees and more than 700 stores, MD Market represents one of the most important distribution realities in Italy.
To monitor and improve the company productivity, MD Market has turned to Digitelematica for the realization of several products for the personnel and stores management.
Our Plan
At Digitelematica, we have created a strong synergy with MD Market to develop highly customized products and functionalities. These were improved and expanded at various stages of the work.
The first software developed was Dr Know, dedicated to attendance management. This software serves as a tool for employees to add working hours, free days and sick days.
This system is integrated with another software, Productivity. Through a series of indexes created ad hoc for the customer, this tool determines the supermarket productivity.
Furthermore, we have developed for MD Market two software for ticketing.
TALOS FM (Facilities Management)is a ticketing system for the management of reports from stores and district managers/sale representatives.

In relation to this software Digitelematica has developed a mobile app for Android OS, which makes all operations easier and faster.
Opening a ticket is easy, frame with the camera the barcode applied to the equipment for which you need assistance. The system fills in all the fields related to the asset automatically.
The technicians always have the system specifics at hand. Thanks to push notifications, they are alerted every time a store opens a ticket, or a supplier sends an estimate/report to be approved.
Results
The systems for monitoring technician costs for interventions in case of an alert delivered by the store has given MD Market the chance of attentive control by supervisors, which has resulted in costs reduction.
The use of a mobile client, together with the alerting system through push notifications, has made possible to optimize the taking charge of the order and the ticket resolution.
