What will your role be?
You will deal with Information Systems / Hardware and Software

We hope that you:

  • Have the ability to diagnose the various problems of the IT environment;
  • Has the ability to analyze the software and information flows existing within the infrastructure;
  • Have competence in the management of all the hardware and software elements in use, ensuring the perfect functioning of the IT infrastructures;
  • Have good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux etc.) and computer applications, also to identify and correct malfunctions (troubleshooting) and take care of hardware and software maintenance;
  • Know network for network monitoring (Icinga, Smokeping, Grafana);
  • Know virtualization environments (VMware);
  • Get to know the open source software distributors (pfSense);
  • Knows the private telecommunication network (VPN) and related;
  • Know the Internet Connection Security Protocol (IPSec)
  • Knowledge of open-core software for managing the system configuration in a declarative way (Puppet);
  • Know the Java programming language and web servers (Tomcat);
  • Be prepared for team work;
  • Be available to travel to clients in Lombardy;
  • Have a good level of reading and writing documentation in English.

You will take care of:

  • Manage the IT infrastructure, operating systems and corporate networks;
  • Install and configure hardware and software;
  • Monitor the performance of the computer system and data networks;
  • Carry out routine maintenance of the systems (updates, installation of backup systems);
  • Give support and assistance to the staff for hardware and software problems;
